Functions
- Preparation of the monthly and annual report of activities of the Authority. It is also responsible for the review of all technical reports.
- Preparation of proposal for procurement of waste management equipment.
- Monitoring of operational maintenance and commercial activities.
- Preparation of the Authority’s Annual Budget and Expenditure and Rolling Plan.
- Computerization of information and take charge of Information Communication Technology (ICT).
- Take charge of OGWAMA Library.
- Data collection and Data management.
- Updating of statistical Data on website.
- Responsibility for collation of departmental estimates and final preparation of the Annual Budget for the Authority.
- Monitors expenditure of the organization to ensure strict adherence to the fiscal plans.
- Strengthening collaborations, advocacy and networking.
- Enhancing staff capacities through partnership funded programs. Coordinate and facilitate the provision of technical and developmental training for staff.
- Consultancy services: Co-ordinate the procedure of operation for accredited Consultants.
- Drafting of standards, regulations and guidelines.
- Improving OGWAMA’s role as Waste Management Regulatory Authority.
